I woke up this morning with yet another random purple spot; this one is on the inside of my right arm. It pales in comparison to the green and purple splotch on the back of my left hand that appeared shortly after I banged into a doorknob. Oh, the joys of Coumadin!

Thinking about it (and trying really hard to figure out what I had banged into), I’ve come to the conclusion that most of us are by nature far clumsier than we realize. We half-trip over things, bump into sharp corners, and catch ourselves right before falling on our faces far more often than we really recognize. Mostly because nothing bad happens as a result.

Of course, I’ve been the proverbial Accident Waiting For a Place to Happen for as long as I can remember, so maybe it’s just me.
