BlogWalking: I Got Gmail!

Thanks to gmail swap and the kindness of a gentleman named Jeff in MO, OneWoman now has Gmail! Cool beans!!
Jeff responded to my second swap offer with the following:
“A good deed should not cost anyone anything. I would gladly send you an invite in exchange for one thing, an email friend. I don’t want to sell anthing, I don’t want anything romantic, just someone to email back and forth occassionally. By all means do the good deed but there is no need to send me a certificate. Let me know if you would be interested in talking occasionally with someone from Missouri?”
Jeff, you’re right - it shouldn’t. You’ve got yourself a penpal. But just to cover all the bases, and because OneWoman never welches on a promise, the following good deed is being done in your honor:
In response to my first gmail swap offer, I received the following from a gentleman named Eric (location as yet unknown) :
“…well it was for my mom and im running low on invites but i can give you 4 email services that have more space than gmail, a david blaine magic tricks revealed e-book, loads of webmaster tools, 1000’s of website templates.for just one of those e-mail addressed for my mom. i just want her to know i think she is onesmartwoman so if you are interested just e-mail me or if not just say no im used to it.”
In Jeff’s honor, Eric, I’ll be in touch later today to set up a mailbox for your mom.
Update@8:22pm: Eric’s mom now has an @onesmartwoman.com eddress, and Eric even invited me to join orkut! Very cool.
