October’s Entertaining Keyword Searches were somewhat disappointing. Of course, the fact that I have been a Bad Blogger and left this %#!& thing largely unattended this month probably has a lot to do with that.

Yes, the spam spewers have found us here at OSW. Over the course of the last week, Yours Truly has been forced to remove more viagra offers and other unmentionable solicitations from the blog than I’d care to count. As a result, comment moderation has been turned on until I can find a better solution.

Boggle was a favorite in our house when I was a kid, and while the current dictionary is enough to drive a linguist to drink (see below), I think most of us type faster than we write so you can get some pretty darn good scores. In order to keep any sense of self-esteem though, you have to ignore those who get absurdly high scores - they’ve got to be using some kind of solver - like the one found here.
